Its popularity allowed Winfrey to become an entrepreneur with Harpo Productions, O Magazine, and other endeavors. The Oprah Winfrey Show remained a ratings sensation for 25 years, and it ended its run in 2011. The following year, Winfrey launched her own cable station, OWN.
